Hall Hire Booking Form

Please use when booking the Whanganui Sailing Club hall

The club facilities for hire consist of the upstairs hall, bathroom facilities, and kitchen. You will be able to park in the adjacent grounds.
You agree to leave the clubrooms and the parking area in a clean and tidy condition, and also to not damage/harm or steal any of the amenities. If you do so your bond will not be refundable and you may liable for other damage related costs.
The Club rooms will be made available from 12 noon on the day of the hire, until 12 noon of the following day.

We do not allow any decorations to be stapled taped or fixed to the ceilings or walls.

The club will hire the hall to you in a clean state and it is your responsibility to hand it back in a clean state.

Payment for the use of the hall is $500, plus $200 as a refundable bond.
You can pay this into the Whanganui Sailing Club bank account at any time before the event. The hall hire will not go ahead until the payment has been made. (Eftpos is also available for payment).

You will meet a sailing club member at the club on the day of your hire and you will be issued with a key for the club rooms and an alarm code. The Club member will explain the lighting and security arrangements.
Normally the stop bank gate is locked at dusk. The Club will arrange for the gate to be left open for the duration of the event, and the security company notified that the event is on. Armourguard will lock the gate at a time to be defined………

On the day after the hall hire a club member will meet you at the club to inspect the facilities, you will return the key and if the facilities are deemed acceptable you will receive your $200.00 bond back, by bank transfer into your nominated bank account.
